Project Manager

NP Aerospace is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in Coventry, UK. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the management of projects supporting the delivery of new defence protection products, such as armour plates, shields, helmets, and bomb disposal suits.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage projects across the Composite and Armour Systems business, ensuring delivery on time, to the right quality standards, and to agreed project budgets.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and coordinate resources required and assigned to projects.
- Provide technical direction to ensure system design meets customer technical specifications and quality or regulatory requirements.
- Manage a full product life cycle from bids and project initiation through development and verification into full-rate production.
- Support the team in problem-solving design and product issues to resolve functional issues throughout the development and service lifecycle.
- Educated to degree level or relevant work-based experience.
- High level of technical proficiency underpinned by formal technical/engineering qualifications.
- Experienced Project Management professional with strong leadership skills and a demonstrable track record in successful project setup, execution, and delivery.
- Excellent communication skills and commercial awareness.
- Proficient in all Microsoft packages, including MS Project.
