About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team at The Ned. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for producing high-quality desserts and pastries to meet the demands of our busy restaurants and events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve dessert menus to our guests, ensuring exceptional presentation and taste.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver seamless service and maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Support the Head Chef in menu creation and development, bringing your creative flair and expertise to the table.
  • Assist with pre-service preparation, including food preparation, plating, and presentation.
  • Maintain a high level of productivity and efficiency during service, prioritizing guest satisfaction and team performance.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry and dessert preparation, including baking, decorating, and presentation.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high standards of quality and service.
