About the Role
Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal care tasks, which may include toileting, bathing, getting in and out of bed, and dressing.
  • Support with meal preparation and eating.
  • Help with household tasks and general cleaning.
  • Aid in grocery shopping.
  • Encourage participation in sports and leisure activities.
  • Foster social interactions and engagement in activities.
  • Promote friendships and independence.
  • Build a trusting one-on-one relationship.
  • Assist with gardening tasks.

The individual's needs may fluctuate daily, and your responsibilities may adjust accordingly. You may be asked to perform other reasonable duties as needed.

As an employee, you are required to report any accidents to the employer immediately and to inform them of any defects or hazards that could lead to an accident. Ensuring the safety of the individual is paramount at all times.

Due to the nature of this position, it is subject to a satisfactory DBS disclosure, with costs covered by the employer.



Transport Requirements A valid driver's license and car ownership are required, along with business insurance.

Candidates should be calm and relaxed yet capable of providing motivation.

Required Training Successful candidates will need to complete any necessary training relevant to the role.
Training in Moving and Handling will be provided by the employer.
First Aid training will also be provided by the employer.
Candidates should be aware that the individual may have limited mobility and may occasionally use a specialized pushchair.
