Head of Quality Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Head of Quality to lead our Quality Assurance and Analytical Services functions, ensuring compliance with UK, European, and international GMP regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor quality performance against agreed targets and lead regulatory authority audits.
  • Ensure a robust Quality Management System (QMS) is in place, facilitating development, manufacture, packaging, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Manage the activities of QA and Analytical Services teams, including QPs and Responsible Persons.
  • Liaise with clients and their quality executives to ensure strong relationships and customer service.
  • Manage and improve the QMS to meet statutory, industry, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Represent the business with regulatory bodies and the UK Home Office.
  • Agree, manage, and deliver financial performance to meet annual budgets for the Quality department.
Requirements:
  • Experience in staff management, team building, and product formulation, development, and clinical supply.
  • Meeting Regulatory Compliance standards for the EU, US, and other international markets.
  • Delivery of key objectives, strategic planning, and budgeting.
  • Implementing quality assurance systems in a GMP/GCP/GLP/GDP/IMP environment.
  • Lean and Six Sigma, process, and operational process improvements.
