Join Our Care Team as a Healthcare Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Manor House Care Home, part of the Care Concern Group.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Empower residents to maintain their independence by assisting with daily routines and promoting positive choices.
  • Deliver personalized care and support to each resident, following their individualized care plans and addressing their unique needs.
  • Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, communicating concerns to the Nurse or Clinical Deputy Manager and collaborating with healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Uphold the dignity and respect of each resident, ensuring they feel valued and cared for in every interaction.
  • Encourage social interactions among residents and with staff, fostering a warm and welcoming environment.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and comfortable living spaces, responding promptly to emergencies or call bells.
  • Assist residents who require extra help with eating and drinking, ensuring their nutritional needs are met.
  • Bring joy and positivity to our residents' lives, making a meaningful difference in their daily experiences.

About You:

  • Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care is preferred.
  • Experience: Ideally, you have at least 6 months of experience as a Care Assistant, but we welcome those with a passion for care and transferable skills.
  • Passion: You're genuinely interested in caring for the elderly and committed to delivering excellent service.
  • Values: You bring integrity, respect, and a strong sense of teamwork to everything you do.
