About the Role

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced and skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join our team. As an Administrative Support Specialist, you will provide high-level administrative support to the People Directorate Business Manager and Director of People.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the People Directorate Business Manager and Director of People, including diary management, meeting organization, and correspondence.
  • Develop and maintain efficient and effective office procedures to support the People Directorate business management team.
  • Plan and arrange meetings and events, ensuring all necessary arrangements are made, such as room bookings, refreshments, and travel.
  • Manage the Director of People's diary, booking meetings and venues as necessary.
  • Organize incoming emails for the Director of People, highlighting priority communications and ensuring timely responses to information and requests.
  • Attend designated meetings, taking and transcribing minutes, and distributing information prior to and after meetings.
  • Type confidential correspondence, reports, and other documentation to a high standard within agreed timescales.
  • Communicate and model behaviors that promote a culture that values and respects diversity, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment.
