Client Manager Opportunity

TPF Recruitment, a leading recruitment agency for the accountancy and finance sector, is partnering with a reputable firm of chartered accountants in East Kent to find an exceptional Client Manager to join their team. Our client is a general practice firm of chartered accountants providing a range of accountancy and tax services to businesses across the Southeast. They offer a relaxed work environment and a great work-life balance. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing a diverse client portfolio and have opportunities for career progression, including the potential to become a partner in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and be the primary point of contact for clients across various industries
  • Prepare statutory accounts, management accounts, and corporate and personal tax returns
  • Review and provide feedback on junior staff's work
  • Offer advice on general tax, accounting, and software queries to clients

Requirements:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent, or nearly qualified, or qualified by experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in an accountancy practice
  • General practice experience across accounts and tax
  • Proficiency in cloud software such as Sage, Xero, and/or QuickBooks is advantageous
