Activities Coordinator Role at Hutton Park Care Home

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team at Hutton Park Care Home, a luxurious care home in Largs, Scotland.

Job Summary:

The Activities Coordinator will work closely with the Home Manager to plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents. This role requires a creative and organised individual who can develop and deliver engaging programmes that promote socialisation, hobbies, and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and initiate monthly rolling programmes and individual activities that meet the needs and requests of residents.
  • Encourage residents to maintain their pre-existing hobbies and interests.
  • Collaborate with staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in care home activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documents.
  • Develop and deliver events and activities that promote socialisation and community engagement.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to develop and organise a range of events and activities.
  • Friendly, creative, and confident individual with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Computer skills and ability to work independently.
  • Genuine interest in working with the elderly and promoting their well-being.
