Job Summary

Hutton Park Care Home is seeking a skilled Activities Director to join our team. As an Activities Director, you will be responsible for planning and implementing activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement monthly rolling/individual programs that promote socialization, engagement, and entertainment for residents.
• Collaborate with the Home Manager to ensure activities align with the care home's goals and objectives.
• Encourage staff members, relatives, and friends to participate in activities, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities using appropriate documentation.
• Contribute to the development of a comprehensive activity calendar that meets the needs of residents.

Requirements

• Proven ability to develop and organize a range of events/activities.
• Friendly, creative, and confident demeanor.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Genuine interest in working with the elderly and promoting their well-being.
