Job Title: Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer to join our Development Team in Birmingham. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and producing designs and drawings for construction projects, as well as delivering technical reports for masterplanning and planning applications.

About the Role

As a Principal Civil Infrastructure Engineer, you will work closely with our Development Team to deliver high-quality projects, including:

  • HS2 Curzon Street Station, Birmingham
  • Eden Project North
  • Greenwich Peninsula
  • HS2 Old Oak Common Station, London
  • Aston Villa, Birmingham
  • Bahrain International Sports City, Bahrain
  • Smithfield Redevelopment, Birmingham
  • Ellison Institute of Technology, Oxford

You will be responsible for:

  • Day-to-day project management, including concept studies and strategies
  • Financial management, ensuring projects are delivered to budget, programme, and technical standards
  • Working on multi-disciplinary projects and client accounts, liaising with clients at a local and national level
  • Direct line management, including mentoring and managing early career professionals
  • Assisting in the preparation of fee proposals and business development activities
  • Maintaining a positive working environment in the team
