Job Summary:

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced IT Programme Manager to join a business-critical programme of complex application integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in application integration projects and programmes within the insurance industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage IT programme management and project management activities within the insurance industry
  • Develop and implement application integration projects and programmes
  • Manage dependencies, risks, and issues to ensure successful project delivery
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive project outcomes and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Manage third-party vendors and suppliers to ensure effective project delivery
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams
  • Communicate project progress and status to stakeholders, including project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements:

  • Proven expertise in IT programme management and project management within the insurance industry
  • Demonstrable experience of working on application integration projects and programmes
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to lead from the front
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall ways of working
  • Flexible approach towards hybrid working

Nice to Have:

  • A wealth of insurance industry experience, ideally within the London Market
  • Good understanding of integration policy admin systems
  • Awareness of underwriting workbench
