Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an opportunity for a Director of Asset Management to become a vital part of our Asset Management division. This role is designed for a hybrid working environment.

The primary objective of this position is to formulate and execute a comprehensive strategy for asset management and acquisition, grounded in thorough evaluation and analysis of asset efficacy. You will spearhead the deployment of systems aimed at assessing assets to enhance value and optimize performance in relation to service delivery benchmarks.

Required Skills:

  1. Demonstrated experience in conducting asset evaluations and option assessments to boost asset performance.
  2. Strong financial acumen with a background in budget management and financial analysis.
  3. Experience in leading and inspiring teams.
  4. A solid grasp of property portfolio management and scenarios where assets may not be utilized to their full potential.
  5. Exceptional communication abilities, both written and oral.
  6. The capability to influence senior stakeholders and gain support for data-driven recommendations.
  7. Familiarity with methodologies for planning asset reinvestment, including the collection and analysis of stock data.
  8. Exemplification of the core values of our organization.
  9. Adherence to established leadership and management standards.

Preferred Skills:

  1. Knowledge of the registered provider sector, either through similar roles or advisory experience.
  2. A comprehensive understanding of the broader property market and the opportunities it presents.
  3. Experience in managing remote teams.

Educational Background:

Essential:

  1. A degree or equivalent qualification in Construction, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field.

Preferred:

  1. Chartered membership with the CIOB.
  2. Chartered membership with the RICS.
