Job Title: Senior Contracts Officer (Legal)

Department: Research and Innovation Services (RIS)

Salary: Starting from £46,485, rising to £55,295

As a Senior Contracts Officer (Legal), you will be part of a small but well-established team supporting the University's research contract portfolio. Your main focus will be to manage the contract process for a given Faculty, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures. You will work closely with researchers, academics, and other stakeholders to negotiate and draft contracts, as well as provide guidance on contract-related matters. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in contract management, while contributing to the success of the University's research endeavors. Key Responsibilities: * Manage the contract process for a given Faculty, ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures * Negotiate and draft contracts with researchers, academics, and other stakeholders * Provide guidance on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation and dispute resolution * Collaborate with researchers, academics, and other stakeholders to ensure effective contract management Requirements: * Strong understanding of contract law and University policies and procedures * Excellent communication and negotiation skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills If you are a motivated and organized individual with a passion for contract management, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
