About the Role:As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep of all machinery within the plant, including preventative and planned maintenance programs, plant inspection, fabrication, installation, mechanical testing, and fault finding.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including motors, inverters, gearboxes, and other mechanical systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Conduct plant inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues and ensure smooth plant operations.
- Perform mechanical testing and fault finding to diagnose and repair equipment issues.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in a production plant environment.
- Basic electrical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems.
