Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading international food and agri-related manufacturer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the upkeep of all machinery within the plant, including preventative and planned maintenance programmes, plant inspection, fabrication, installation, mechanical testing, and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on plant equipment, including motors, inverters, and gearboxes
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programmes to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance
  • Conduct plant inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions
  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues and ensure smooth production operations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in mechanical maintenance
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in a production plant environment
  • Basic electrical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
