Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading international food and agri-related manufacturer with production plants worldwide.

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the upkeep of all machinery within the plant, including preventative and planned maintenance programs, plant inspection, fabrication, installation, mechanical testing, and fault finding.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Conduct plant inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  3. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
  4. Collaborate with production teams to resolve mechanical issues and ensure smooth production operations.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to improve maintenance processes and efficiency.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience as a mechanical maintenance engineer in a production plant environment.
  • Basic electrical skills and knowledge of mechanical systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
