Support Children's Development as an Occupational Therapy Assistant

Aspris Children's Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA). This rewarding role offers the opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of children aged who face challenges related to Autism, ADHD, and other learning and emotional difficulties.

As an OTA, you will work closely with our experienced Occupational Therapist to implement individualized treatment programs designed to enhance children's motor skills, sensory processing, cognitive abilities, and overall well-being.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Occupational Therapist in delivering therapeutic interventions tailored to each child's unique needs.
  • Conduct one-on-one and group sessions, engaging children in a variety of activities that promote development and skill acquisition.
  • Utilize your creativity and empathy to foster positive relationships with children, creating a supportive and encouraging environment.
  • Maintain clear and accurate records of therapy sessions, progress notes, and client information.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, sharing observations and insights to contribute to the holistic care of each child.
