We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our student midwives at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a Clinical Placement Facilitator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the education and development of our student midwives, ensuring they receive high-quality clinical training and education.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the education and development of student midwives in maternity services
- Work collaboratively with the Practice Development Midwife, education teams, and senior midwifery colleagues to maintain high clinical standards
- Develop and deliver clinical teaching and learning programs for student midwives
- Support midwives in facilitating student learning in practice
- Coordinate practice placements and rota management
- NMC registered midwife
- First degree qualification
- Experience of working with and supporting student midwives
- Coordination of practice placements or rota management
- Management/coordination of a team
- Teaching and assessment of students in practice
