Job Description

**About the Role**

Tailored Recruiter Ltd is proud to be the exclusive recruitment partner for this rapidly expanding, venture-backed enterprise within the hospitality sector, seeking a seasoned Financial Manager to join their team at a pivotal time of growth.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Focus on management and financial accounting, overseeing a team of 2 Accounts Assistants, while providing strategic input in tandem with the Commercial MD to drive business growth.
  • Manage the financial planning process, analyzing performance and risks to inform business decisions.
  • Prepare timely and detailed reports and analysis on financial performance on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Drive continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
  • Oversee and manage the company's finance IT system, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Manage the end-to-end audit process, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Plan and manage all external audit and internal control operations, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with payroll as needed, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

**Requirements**

  • Part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or Management/Financial Accountant, ideally in a hospitality business or SME.
  • Ability to delegate and manage the work of others, with technical accounting knowledge, including AP and AR.
  • Experience in business partnering, with financial analysis and cash flow forecasting expertise.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel modeling and software (e.g., Xero/QuickBooks).
  • Demonstrable communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate junior finance colleagues.
