Senior DB Pensions Administrator

We are seeking an experienced DB Pensions Administrator to join our growing team at Oval Recruit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients, taking ownership of their requirements, and developing your skills towards becoming a Pensions Administration Consultant.
Key Responsibilities- Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with a key portfolio of clients, ensuring they receive the best possible service and helping the team deliver to expectations.
- Legislative Compliance: Stay up-to-date with legislation and industry changes that may affect clients, highlighting changes and developments to them and making necessary adjustments to calculations, client communications, and activities.
- Team Collaboration: Review and check work carried out by junior team members, helping them develop knowledge and skills, educating where required, and being approachable.
- Service Improvement: Develop an in-depth knowledge of clients, suggest service level improvements, and proactively solve any issues that may arise.
- Process Optimization: Take a proactive approach to finding better, more efficient ways to service client needs and provide an excellent service.
- Mentorship: Assist junior team members with knowledge gaps, mentor them through exams, and help with workflow management, identifying when they need more complex, challenging cases or assistance.
- Department Efficiency: Develop an in-depth knowledge of the department, help make it more efficient, suggest improvements, and be a key part of the team.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have significant DB Pensions Administration experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work off your own initiative. You will also need to demonstrate excellent client communication skills and a willingness to work in a positive team environment.
