About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technical Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will play a crucial role in driving quality and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior Technical and Quality Assurance Manager in managing technical aspects within LSUK, collaborating with the wider Supply Chain team to drive change and improve ways of working.
- Support the technical team in approving artworks for the UK and ROI markets and managing the relevant database.
- Update ingredients, allergens, and suitability information in Salsify for all new products and product changes.
- Ensure that product-related information published on the company website is always accurate and up-to-date.
- Act as the first point of contact for technical data requests, questionnaires from wider teams in the business (B2B, Sales, Marketing, and Retail).
- Manage the documentation database, including HFSS, Private Attestations files, and other technical documentation for existing products, product specifications, and ensuring these are agreed, updated as necessary, and communicated to suppliers and customers in a timely manner.
- Assist the technical team in attending first productions and first production trials.
- Support the technical team in maintaining and regularly reviewing technical documentation for Lindt Retail stores with food service operations.
- Manage the product library for seasonal copack first production samples.
Requirements
- BS degree (or equivalent) in Food Science or Food Technology.
- Good understanding of GMP, HACCP, Food Safety, and Regulatory Compliance.
- Experience in a similar role.
- Ideal experience in approving artworks.
- High attention to detail, methodical, and well-organized, with the ability to use initiative to drive activities independently and work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work with individuals at all levels within the organization, excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organization and prioritization skills.
