About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Administrator to join our Radiology Department at Nuffield Health Oxford Hospital. As an Administrator - Radiology, you will be the face of our organization and play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Radiology Department, including preparing clinical paperwork and referral forms.
  • Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Answer phone calls, deal with enquiries, and book appointments in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Welcome patients in person, direct them to the appropriate waiting rooms, and provide general information about the department.
  • Contribute to the smooth operation of the department by performing administrative tasks, such as data entry and filing.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex information in a clear and sympathetic manner.
  • Good IT and keyboard skills, with experience of working with healthcare administration systems.
  • Previous experience in a healthcare administration or reception environment, ideally within a hospital or medical setting.
  • A customer-focused approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and support.
