Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a Senior Clinical/Counselling Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality psychological therapies to working-age adults in our community-based psychological therapies service.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver complex psychological formulations and interventions
  • Provide supervision, consultancy, and reflective practice groups to colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of training programs and workshops
  • Work closely with the Community Mental Health Team in Walsall North and other mental health professionals
  • Participate in research and audit activities to inform service development

Person Specification
  • Doctorate or Masters Level in Clinical/Counselling Psychology
  • HCPC registration as Practitioner Psychologist
  • Experience of working with mental health clients
  • Experience of MDT working
  • Experience of working within CMHT
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Evidence of training in supervision
  • Evidence of skills in different models of therapy
  • Evidence of experience in research and audit
