Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Category Strategy & Insights Manager to join our team at CV-Library. As a key member of our Consumer Insights team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies for our product categories, including HSS, RM, Hot Sauces, and Condiments.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Category Vision & Strategy:

    • Develop and implement category strategies to drive business growth and profitability.

    • Identify opportunities for innovation and integration into business plans.
  2. NPD & Innovation:

    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop UK-specific research projects.

    • Support the UK Consumer Marketing team in building compelling brand and NPD sell-in stories for Retail customers.
  3. Customer Centricity:

    • Ensure that channel/customer strategies are considered and integrated into category and brand/NPD recommendations.

    • Build partnerships with Customer Category Managers and Shopper Marketing to drive business results.
  4. Insight Generation & Expertise:

    • Share industry trends, competitive landscape, and market intelligence with the wider UK Consumer team.

    • Analyze and transform market, consumer, and shopper data into actionable insights.
  5. Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Build collaborative relationships with third-party agency partners and suppliers to secure optimum SLAs and deliverables.

Candidate Profile:

  1. Relevant experience in FMCG, preferably in a category strategy or insights role.
  2. Commitment to continuous improvement and effective project management.
