About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Category Manager to join our team at Zero Surplus. As a Category Manager, you will be responsible for analysing and interpreting data from various sources, including Nielsen, Kantar, and GfK, to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive business growth and meet retailer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and interpret data from various sources to identify key trends and insights
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective category management
  • Champion the customer internally and work with internal teams to achieve category goals
  • Create and deliver compelling presentations to retailers to increase distribution and gain listings
  • Develop and maintain reporting capabilities across key performance indicators

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience within the FMCG, General Merchandise, or Retail sectors
  • Knowledge and experience of category management or retail commercial management
  • Advanced Excel skills with intermediate to advanced PowerPoint skills
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
