Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Investment Strategist to join our Investment Solutions team at Aviva. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored investment strategies for our global insurance clients.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in developing investment strategies or mandates for insurance clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their target outcomes and translate them into tailored investment strategies, integrating those mandates into our portfolio management processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement investment strategies for insurance clients, taking into account their target outcomes and risk tolerance.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their investment objectives and develop tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Investment Solutions team to integrate client mandates into our portfolio management processes.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in the insurance market, including new regulations, and share knowledge with the team.
  • Identify opportunities to grow our insurance franchise and contribute to the development of new business initiatives.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in developing investment strategies or mandates for insurance clients.
  • Detailed understanding of how global insurance solvency and accounting regimes influence investment and asset-liability management strategies.
  • Broad understanding of public and private asset classes, including derivatives.
  • CFA, Actuary, or similar professional qualification.
