About the Role

Eka Finance is seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Investment Strategist to join our team in London. As a key member of our Quant Markets Team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing quantitative investment strategies that utilize derivatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models and algorithms to analyze and optimize investment portfolios
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to design and implement quantitative investment strategies
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and opportunities in the market
  • Design and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential losses
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and optimal investment decisions

Requirements

  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as econometrics, statistics, or applied mathematics
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data analysis and visualization tools
  • At least two years of experience working with data or financial models in the private sector or academic research
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
