Quality Assurance Manager Pharmaceutical

Our client, a leading biotechnology company based in Cambridge, is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to oversee a small team and ensure cGMP compliance and development of their Quality Management System (QMS).
The OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in the biotech GMP sector and prior line management experience. As a Senior Member of the QA Team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a small team of QA members to achieve and maintain cGMP compliance.
- Developing and implementing new QA initiatives and managing the QMS.
- Overseeing various QA-related functions, including CAPAs, risk management, change control, internal/external auditing, and supplier management.
- Providing training on QMS and GMP to team members.
Requirements:
- BSc/MSc/PhD in a biological/biotechnology discipline (essential) or equivalent experience.
- Proven career in the biological or pharmaceutical QA sector (essential).
- Previous GMP quality experience (essential).
- Experience in maintaining and updating a Quality Management System (QMS) and relevant documents (essential).
- Understanding of DNA synthesis (desired).
