We are seeking a Lead Automation and Control Systems Engineer to enhance their operations and contribute to significant projects. You will be an integral part of a team that provides essential technical and design assistance for systems and equipment vital to the nuclear defueling initiative.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform assessments of asset conditions and evaluate obsolescence.
  • Identify and specify replacement components and assist in the documentation for permanent changes.
  • Oversee the maintenance of technical schematics and documentation.
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving faults.
  • Advance automation and control systems through various tasks and deliverables, including requirements documentation, maintenance and commissioning records, and implementation assistance.


Required Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of automation and control systems, encompassing both hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with applicable industry regulations concerning electrical systems, particularly in functional and machinery safety.
  • Experience in the development of automation and control systems through standard design processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills to gather project scopes and requirements.
  • Expertise in creating electrical engineering diagrams using design software.


Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience with HNC.
  • Professional accreditation with an engineering body is preferred.
  • Capability to obtain and maintain Security Check (SC) clearance.
