Gender is considered to be a genuine occupational requirement in accordance with paragraph 1 of Schedule 9 of the Equality Act 2010.
- Competitive Hourly Rate: £12.00; sleep nights compensated at £45 per night along with additional Company Benefits.
- Shift Schedule: 10:00-18:00 and 10:00-22:00 with a sleep night, followed by 07:00-10:00.
- A full UK or EU Driving Licence is essential, as the individuals you will be assisting require support with their mobility vehicles.
This role presents a unique opportunity for a proactive and engaging female support worker to provide assistance to an individual with complex needs. You will be supporting a remarkable lady who enjoys an active lifestyle.
The ideal candidate will be energetic and enthusiastic, as the individual you will be supporting loves to be outdoors and requires someone who can keep pace with her and help discover new activities to ensure each day is varied and enjoyable.
Sensitivity and confidence are crucial to maintain the necessary boundaries that help the individual feel secure and safe during your time together.
The individual possesses strong receptive language skills and utilizes Makaton signs for communication; training will be provided to facilitate effective interaction.
Each day will offer diverse and fulfilling experiences as you encourage and empower the individual to engage actively in all aspects of her life. This includes accompanying her to preferred activities, assisting with daily living skills, administering medication, and providing personal care when necessary.

- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, with the cost covered by Dimensions.
