Job Title: Female Care Support Worker

Job Description:

We are seeking a compassionate and caring Female Care Support Worker to join our team at Home Instead. As a Female Care Support Worker, you will provide support and companionship to our clients in the comfort of their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer friendly companionship and conversation to our clients
  • Cook healthy and nutritious food, as well as assist with grocery shopping
  • Provide medication reminders and collect prescriptions
  • Stimulate and encourage clients through various activities, such as hobbies and crafts
  • Assist with walking and provide support with daily tasks
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events

Home Help Services:

  • Provide light housekeeping and complete laundry
  • Make beds and change linen
  • Plan, prepare, and tidy away meals

Personal Care Services:

  • Help with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist with continence care
  • Support clients with eating and drinking

Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of Cardiff, Barry, or Penarth
  • Have access to a private vehicle
  • Must be female

Working Hours:

  • Monday-Wednesday, Saturday, or Sunday: 08:00-18:00
  • Wednesday-Friday, Saturday, or Sunday: 08:00-18:00
