Car Parts Administrator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Car Parts Administrator to join our team at Plus One Recruitment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our automotive parts inventory, conducting competitor research, and ensuring accurate data storage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Input part numbers into our Product Information Management (PIM) system as requested by Product Line.
  • Conduct thorough competitor research to increase market share and opportunities.
  • Keep our data storage up to date with accurate information from competitor research.
  • Ensure part numbers are correctly added and stored to our database.
  • Liaise with our in-house photography team to ensure correct images are uploaded with relevant parts.
  • Liaise with other departments, such as Category, Product, and Engineering.
Key Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working in the Automotive Aftermarket Industry.
  • Previous experience using cataloguing systems in a main dealership or aftermarket.
  • Good understanding of automotive car parts with some mechanical knowledge.
  • Prior experience using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and industry cataloguing tools, CCU desirable.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Knowledge of most Microsoft Applications.
  • Strong accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills.
  • Committed team player.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Able to build trust with stakeholders and understand the customer's perspective.
