Job Title: Engineering Manager

Thought Machine is a pioneering fintech company on a mission to revolutionize the banking industry. We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our technical projects and drive innovation.

About the Role

As an Engineering Manager at Thought Machine, you will be responsible for managing complex technical projects, leading a team of talented engineers, and contributing to product strategy. You will work closely with Product Management and Client Services to define and deliver our product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage technical projects from conception to delivery
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project success
  • Collaborate with Product Management and Client Services to define product requirements
  • Contribute to product strategy and technical decision-making
  • Develop and grow your team, providing opportunities for career development
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2+ years of experience in engineering management, with a focus on product-aligned teams
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments, with a strong understanding of modern technology stacks
  • Technical background to drive technical decisions and excellent interpersonal skills to drive communication with stakeholders
