About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced corporate lawyer to join our team at AMS Group. As a specialist tax law firm, we provide advice to companies, owner-managed businesses, and individuals on business tax issues, particularly those associated with organisational change and business succession.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advising on company law implications of re-organisations, capital reductions, demergers, family investment companies, joint ventures, and shareholder arrangements
  • Drafting of legal documents, including agreements and contracts
  • Occasional M&A work, including due diligence and transactional support
  • Supervising and training more junior lawyers as we grow our team
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Providing expert advice on business tax issues, including organisational change and business succession planning
Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 2 years' PQE
  • High level of technical skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills, proactive with an ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Friendly and professional demeanour with a positive attitude
  • Task-focused and self-managing
