An exciting opportunity has emerged for a seasoned Procurement Lead to become part of their management team, focusing on the enhancement of their established procurement operations. Reporting directly to the COO, this position is designed for a procurement professional with a solid background in public sector procurement, responsible for overseeing all procurement activities, managing tender processes, and collaborating with managers to align procurement practices with their social value and strategic objectives.
In light of the upcoming Procurement Act 2023, this role will also provide the chance to influence and refine the procurement strategy and policies, ensuring compliance with new regulations while optimizing procurement efficiency across the organization.
The ideal candidate should possess CIPS qualifications or be actively pursuing them, along with demonstrable experience in leading tender processes and providing guidance on procurement matters in accordance with the Public Contract Regulations 2015 (PCR2015).
