Empowering Learning: SEN Specialist Teacher Opportunity

We are seeking a passionate and experienced SEN Specialist Teacher to join our dedicated team on a full-time basis. This role will be based in a supportive SEND setting, providing tailored educational support to students with a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students with SEND.
  • Support students' academic, social, and emotional development through targeted interventions.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants, SENCOs, and other staff to ensure a consistent and inclusive approach.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting strategies as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Foster a safe and supportive classroom environment that promotes engagement and motivation.
  • Engage with parents and carers to communicate progress and address concerns.
  • Liaise with external agencies, such as therapists and educational psychologists, to provide holistic support.
