Buyer - Wirral

We are working with an NHS trust based in Wirral who have two interim vacancies for Buyers to support their Procurement team.

Anticipated duration is for three months.

The role will be predominantly based on site at Clatterbridge Hospital, Wirral.

In this role you will
- Identify, lead and manage and deliver CIP savings and efficiency's from a broad range of schemes and initiatives
- Identify, lead and manage the delivery of a range of projects and initiatives to increase the value of the Trust's non-pay spend under formal contract and to reduce ad-hoc spend
- Engage with stakeholders to determine and agree the project scope and delivery time frame.
- Calculate the anticipated value of savings and efficiency's for procurement projects identified through the spend analysis process; and to have your methodology and calculations validated by the appropriate Principal Financial Accountant prior to project commencement.
- Determine the most appropriate procurement strategy and route to market for the contracts and schemes within your portfolio
- Effectively manage procurement projects assigned to you to ensure they are delivered within the timescale and that benefits are maximised.
- Use the results of your analysis and bench marking activity to identify new projects and savings opportunities on a regular basis throughout the year

The role is predominately office based and if expected to last for an initial three months.
