Clinical Development Nurse - Oxfordshire

This is a challenging and rewarding role for an experienced Clinical Development Nurse to lead, support and continuously improve clinical governance and quality of care for residents in Barchester Healthcare's nursing homes in Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire.

Main Responsibilities
  • Review and support the performance of every home in the region to ensure the highest clinical standards are being met.
  • Analyze the clinical governance database and KPIs, identify practical strategies to address any issues, and work closely with the Regional Director, improvement specialists, and senior clinical staff to plan and implement key actions to improve care delivery month-on-month.
About the Role

This opportunity will oversee nursing homes in Oxfordshire & Northamptonshire - Brackley, Chipping Norton, Kettering and Northampton.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical practice, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to drive improvement through training, staff development, and implementing best practices.

Requirements
  • Current NMC registration and evidence of continued professional development.
  • Extensive experience in a care home environment, including working as a clinical mentor and supporting newly-qualified nurses.
  • A strong understanding of current regulatory requirements.
