Position Overview:
4Recruitment Services is looking for a Housing Officer to join our dedicated team. This role is pivotal in ensuring effective housing management and tenant support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive housing management services to residents, ensuring exceptional standards of customer service.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to tenants through multiple communication methods, including in-person meetings, home visits, and digital correspondence.
  • Work collaboratively with both internal teams and external partners to maintain tenancies and develop tailored support plans.
  • Assess and manage housing-related requests, such as tenancy transfers and mutual exchanges, adhering to relevant legislation.
  • Address complaints regarding anti-social behaviour and neighbour conflicts, coordinating with appropriate agencies for resolution.
  • Conduct routine estate inspections and health/safety assessments to guarantee effective oversight of housing assets.
  • Keep precise records and compile reports on statistical information for service evaluation and enhancement proposals.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Possess a solid understanding of current housing challenges and the socio-political context affecting local authority housing services.
  • Familiarity with Health and Safety regulations and policies.
  • Knowledge of the welfare benefits framework.
  • Valid UK driving license and access to personal transportation for work-related duties.
