OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Head of Investor Relations, you will serve as Burberry's representative within the investment community. As a key member of a compact yet prominent team, you will actively contribute to the execution of a robust investor relations strategy that encompasses the company's capital markets communications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee relationships with sell-side analysts, manage consensus gathering and dissemination, and track sell-side perspectives on Burberry and the industry.
  • Prepare and compile results announcements, investor presentations, and supporting documentation, including ownership of the Q&A document.
  • Develop and maintain the reporting package utilizing IR Insight by Nasdaq, along with the company’s financial model.
  • Monitor peer group activities and regularly share insights and analyses with internal stakeholders.
  • Build strong internal relationships, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create communication materials for both internal and external audiences.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the financial performance and operational aspects of the business.
  • Lead investor meetings, both spontaneous and at industry conferences, as well as briefings for sell-side sales desks.
  • Establish connections with buy-side and sell-side analysts and address their inquiries.
  • Assist in the shareholder targeting process.
  • Contribute to periodic updates for the Board and Executive Committee regarding investor relations activities and investor sentiment.
  • Exhibit confidence in discussing topics pertinent to capital market participants.
  • Be prepared and willing to undertake international business travel.

CANDIDATE PROFILE
  • 4 to 5 years of experience on the buy-side or sell-side.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capacity to build relationships with peers and senior leadership.
  • Solid commercial insight and a thorough understanding of financial statements.
  • Robust analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work under the pressure of tight deadlines.
  • Self-driven and motivated with a desire to learn and grow.
  • Confidence to lead meetings with both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • As part of a small team, a willingness to support all facets of the investor relations program is essential.
