Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Relief Delivery Driver to join our team at Allied Bakeries. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products from customers, suppliers, and other organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Operate Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, adhering to the Highway Code and Company standards.
  • Apply SAFED driving techniques to maximize safety and fuel efficiency.
  • Adhere to Company delivery and collection procedures, including picking from bulk order loads, order adjustments, and health and safety protocols.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, meeting Company standards for service quality.
  • Report any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels to the FLM immediately.
  • Follow Company standards and procedures for working with and accounting for Company products and equipment.
  • Participate in Company driver training and communications programs.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Company, including unloading, refueling, and washing vehicles, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
  • Possess an appropriate driving license.
  • Be conscientious and flexible in your work approach.
  • Exhibit good interpersonal skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Present a smart appearance at all times.
