Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our Community Recovery Services team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs to achieve their recovery goals.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with our Care Coordinators, Clinical Lead, and Team Leader to provide support and guidance to service users. You will be responsible for managing a caseload of service users, developing and implementing therapeutic interventions, and working collaboratively with other agencies to promote recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support service users with severe mental health needs to promote their own recovery
  • Develop and implement therapeutic interventions underpinned by the Care Programme Approach
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies to promote recovery and well-being
  • Manage a caseload of service users, providing regular updates and progress reports
  • Participate in regular supervision and training to develop clinical and professional practice
Person Specification:

We are looking for a candidate with:

Good general education to GCSE level or equivalentEvidence of training and development in mental health and social careGood IT skills and ability to use electronic records systemsNVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social careEffective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skillsAbility to work independently and use own initiativeAbility to respond in a professional manner to challenging behaviorsWhat We Offer:
