As a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating positive behaviour management plans to support individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern.

Your key responsibilities will include:

* Developing and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs) to support individuals with complex needs and behaviours of concern
* Providing information, guidance, and training to individuals, families, carers, and guardians on evidence-based, person-centred approaches to support individuals to achieve their personal goals
* Providing individual counselling and therapy across the lifespan
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive support to individuals

To be successful in this role, you will need:

* Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, or a relevant field
* Experience developing, writing, and implementing Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
* Demonstrated experience and well-developed skills in working effectively with children, young people, or adults with a range of disability, mental health, and/or complex behavioural needs
* Ability to work as a team member to consult and work with staff to support individuals with complex behaviours or behaviours of concern
* Experience in providing training on behaviour management strategies
* Knowledge of trauma-informed practices
* Current NSW Driver's licence
* Current WWCC or the willingness to obtain
* Current Police Check or the willingness to obtain
* Current NDIS Worker Check
* Covid 19 Vaccination
