Position Overview

Spencer Clarke Group is proud to collaborate with a reputable Chartered Accounting firm seeking a dedicated Audit Supervisor to enhance their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities

As an Audit Supervisor, you will manage a diverse portfolio of small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Your role will encompass:

  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships while ensuring high productivity levels.
  • Delivering top-notch audit and assurance services.
  • Overseeing the entire audit process and providing comprehensive management reports and recommendations.
  • Upholding technical standards throughout the audit lifecycle.
Team Leadership

In this position, you will also:

  • Mentor junior team members, guiding them through ongoing projects.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and support the professional development of staff.
  • Ensure timely completion of all tasks while adhering to strict deadlines.
Client Management

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high-quality audit and assurance services.
  • Preparing and reviewing audit plans.
  • Delegating tasks and reviewing the work of junior auditors.
  • Reporting directly to key stakeholders regarding audit findings.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience with accounting software such as Sage, Xero, or QBO.
  • AAT qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
