About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Trainee Block Manager. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential portfolios.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with clients, leaseholders, tenants, and freeholders to provide exceptional customer service
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness
  • Arrange and oversee service contracts, including cleaning and gardening services
  • Implement Section 20 Consultation process to meet legal requirements
  • Prepare annual service charge budgets and provide financial information to stakeholders
  • Work with Credit Control and Management to address service charge arrears and debt collection
  • Coordinate with Accounts to ensure timely contractor payments and fund sufficiency
  • Attend and chair resident meetings, including those outside office hours
  • Collaborate with team members to improve property management expertise
  • Draft and produce letters, statutory notices, and documents as required
Requirements
  • Holds a valid driving license and can visit sites outside of the immediate area
  • Own car (desirable)
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Able to prioritize workload
  • Works well under pressure
  • General understanding of legal terminology, accounts, and building processes (desirable)
