Job Description

Sales Co-ordinator Job Opportunity

The Sales Co-ordinator plays a crucial role in the sales process, reporting directly to the Sales Manager/Account Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing and presenting commercial proposals in response to customer enquiries, providing excellent service to customers for pre-sales, orders, and post-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process sales orders, including sales order entry, certificate generation and issue, sales acknowledgement generation and issue, sales order maintenance, etc.
  • Maintain various sales databases on a daily basis and carry out any other clerical tasks relating to this as and when required by the inside/outside sales team.
  • Process enquiries generated by all incoming mediums.
  • Acquire a detailed and thorough knowledge of the company's products, processes, quality and safety standards sufficient to enable you to effectively and confidently discuss enquiries, orders and projects with customers and staff.
  • Attend and contribute to department meetings, planning and development of company.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working in a customer service/sales environment, and displaying a strong customer focus.
  • Strong PC skills, proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, ideally with some knowledge of Syspro MRP system and Salesforce CRM system.
