Main Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the care of children with renal disorders, including those with congenital renal anomalies, nephrotic syndrome, renovascular hypertension, vasculitis, tubular, glomerular, metabolic, and stone disorders.

Key duties will include participating in the on-call rota, supporting the acute nephrology service on Eagle ward, and managing outpatient clinics, including renal tubulopathies, glomerular disease, renal genetics, and stone clinics.

The post holder will also be required to support the General Nephrology outpatient service and participate in relevant weekly meetings at Great Ormond Street Hospital.

  • Participate in clinical research and audit projects
  • Provide education and training to junior medical staff
