Job Overview

Our Contingent Workforce Solution (CWS) offers comprehensive support to clients by enhancing their recruitment capabilities and supplying skilled interim and temporary personnel.

We are currently seeking a Quality Technician for a contract role focused on ensuring that external suppliers adhere to all necessary regulatory, customer, and contractual standards. This position is vital for delivering value to the organization through the implementation of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives within the supply chain.

Role Responsibilities

The primary function of this role is to guarantee that external suppliers are compliant with all quality standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing and governing selected suppliers to maintain product and service integrity, ensuring compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Defining quality expectations for each supplier in alignment with customer contracts, collaborating closely with the procurement team.
  • Collecting and analyzing data on suppliers' Quality, Safety Management, and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) performance to assess risks and determine necessary corrective actions.
  • Identifying and addressing any quality deficiencies from suppliers, proposing solutions, sharing best practices, and facilitating improvements.
  • Supporting the resolution of issues and ensuring that corrective actions taken by suppliers are effective in preventing recurrence. Promoting the use of best practice problem-solving methodologies and ensuring timely closure of non-conformance investigations.

Candidate Requirements

  • A degree in a relevant Quality or Engineering discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with applicable regulatory standards and industry codes.
  • Ability to make informed, logical decisions based on available data.
  • Capacity to quickly grasp complex products and systems.
  • Professional integrity to raise concerns regarding process suitability for safety and compliance.
  • Understanding of Quality Management Standards and Systems (ISO/AS).
  • Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems.
