Role Summary:
The Senior Project Manager will lead critical Global Supply Chain initiatives at CooperVision, managing the entire project lifecycle from inception to completion. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, effective stakeholder management, and a commitment to delivering projects on schedule, within scope, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Guide project teams throughout the project lifecycle, providing support and direction as needed.
- Business Insight: Leverage financial and operational knowledge to inform decision-making and drive successful project outcomes.
- Project Planning: Create detailed project plans that align with business objectives, including scope, timeline, and budget.
- Governance: Adhere to GSC Project methodologies, promoting best practices among team members and stakeholders.
- Team Coordination: Build and motivate diverse project teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Resource Management: Identify and allocate necessary resources while managing project budgets effectively.
- Risk Mitigation: Assess potential risks and develop strategies to minimize their impact on project timelines and deliverables.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards throughout the project lifecycle, conducting regular evaluations to ensure alignment with goals.
- Regulatory Adherence: Collaborate with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Keep stakeholders informed of project progress, addressing concerns and managing expectations.
- Performance Monitoring: Track project milestones and deliverables using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Continuous Improvement: Apply lessons learned from previous projects to enhance processes and outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Project Management, overseeing complex projects.
- Experience in the medical device industry or similarly regulated sectors is preferred.
- Background in Supply Chain roles is advantageous.
- Proven track record in change management and regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Standard office setting.
- Ability to perform light to moderate physical tasks as needed.
- Frequent interaction with colleagues and external partners.
