About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Junior Process Development Technologist at Long Clawson Dairy Ltd. As a key member of our Process Development team, you will play a crucial role in efficiently progressing new product lines from approval to launch.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deputise for the Process Development Technologist as and when required, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
  • Attend factory trials and complete relevant documents, including trial reports detailing successes and improvement recommendations.
  • Liaise with ingredient suppliers to ensure timely availability of new ingredients ahead of trials.
  • Assist the Process Development Technologist in completing organoleptic shelf-life trials and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Liaise with third-party laboratories to obtain nutritional and microbiological information ahead of deadlines.
  • Organise and participate in taste panels to review recently trialled new cheese products.
  • Complete customer sample requests by coordinating parcel preparation and courier liaison.

Working Arrangements

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required for factory trial attendance.
  • Primary location: Long Clawson Site, with secondary location at Bottesford Site.
